Packaging Designer (Mandarin)

Salary: $50-60K Max Full-time onsite in Cranbury area, NJ MUST SPEAK MANDARIN MUST BE A NJ RESIDENT Job Summary: We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Package Designer to join our team in Cranbury, NJ. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in graphic design and packaging, with the ability to create innovative and functional packaging solutions. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a passion for design, and the ability to work fully onsite in our Cranbury, NJ office. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop packaging for a wide range of products, ensuring both aesthetic appeal and functionality. Gather content from various departments and design package graphics for boxes, labels, plastic bags, and more. Collaborate with the marketing and product development teams to understand project requirements and objectives. Create and present design concepts, mock-ups, and prototypes for review and feedback. Conduct research to stay updated on market trends, materials, and technologies in packaging design. Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure designs are feasible and cost-effective for production. Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, regulations, and sustainability practices. Revise and refine designs based on feedback from stakeholders and team members. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and project timelines. Work well cross-functionally, maintaining effective communication and collaboration with all departments. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or a related field. Proven experience in package design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of packaging projects. Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and 3D modeling software. Excellent understanding of packaging materials, printing processes, and production techniques. Strong visual and spatial design skills with attention to detail. Ability to think creatively and innovatively to solve design challenges. Strong communication and collaboration skills; must be a team player. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of sustainability practices and materials in packaging design is a plus.
