Job Summary: We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Package Designer to join our team in Cranbury, NJ. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in graphic design and packaging, with the ability to create innovative and functional packaging solutions. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a passion for design, and the ability to work fully onsite in our Cranbury, NJ office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop packaging for a wide range of products, ensuring both aesthetic appeal and functionality.
• Gather content from various departments and design package graphics for boxes, labels, plastic bags, and more.
• Collaborate with the marketing and product development teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Create and present design concepts, mock-ups, and prototypes for review and feedback.
• Conduct research to stay updated on market trends, materials, and technologies in packaging design.
• Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure designs are feasible and cost-effective for production.
• Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, regulations, and sustainability practices.
• Revise and refine designs based on feedback from stakeholders and team members.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and project timelines.
• Work well cross-functionally, maintaining effective communication and collaboration with all departments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• Proven experience in package design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of packaging projects.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and 3D modeling software.
• Excellent understanding of packaging materials, printing processes, and production techniques.
• Strong visual and spatial design skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to think creatively and innovatively to solve design challenges.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; must be a team player.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of sustainability practices and materials in packaging design is a plus.
