Director of Digital Commerce & Omni-Channel Marketing

This unique role supports not only Wedgewood's growth but also helps the Veterinarians we serve grow their prescription revenue and compete with online animal health retailers by providing them with a branded storefront to provide a trusted option for prescription home delivery. In this role, your work will often take on the brand of the veterinarian evolving how they digitally connect and support their clients.
In addition, this position will be at the forefront of how we choose to invest in consumer marketing channels for Wedgewood's compounding business.
The Director will create a more connected path to purchase, leveraging data-driven insights to deliver better results for our evolving consumers, Veterinarian partners, retail product manufacturers and company.
What you'll do:
- Strategic Leadership in Digital Commerce:
- Lead the creation and execution of a comprehensive digital commerce strategy, optimizing performance across e-commerce platforms including Wedgewood's proprietary channels.
- Drive integration of eCommerce capabilities with in-practice brick-and-mortar strategies to drive adoption of home delivery and, ensuring consistent consumer experiences online and offline.
- Develop vision and plans to unleash the full potential of consumer marketing across Wedgewood.
- Oversee the implementation of digital merchandising, technology platforms, and data tools that increase engagement, conversion rates, and sales growth.
- Step change our organizations capabilities in retail media and omni-channel marketing, building on our strong foundations of leadership in pharmaceuticals for animal health.
- Develop and lead the execution of a holistic Omni-Channel Marketing strategy that aligns the brands presence (ours or the Veterinarian's) across all touchpoints whether online, in-office, mobile, or social media.
- Integrate physical and digital points of sale, creating seamless shopping experiences that enhance brand visibility and engagement, driving both in-office and online traffic and sales.
- Collaborate with key manufacturing partners and internal sales teams to deliver integrated marketing campaigns, product launches, and promotions that maximize reach and effectiveness.
- Ensure consistency in branding, promotions, and shopper messaging at both the digital and physical shelves, optimizing the customer journey and enhancing overall brand experience for Wedgewood and our Veterinarian partners.
- Work in partnership with both Marketing and Sales to ensure integrated execution of digital commerce and omni-channel marketing initiatives.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and development to a team of digital commerce and omni-channel marketing professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, agility, and continuous improvement.
- Lead the function by consistently tracking and communicating performance metrics, campaign effectiveness, and ROI, ensuring strategies are optimized for maximum impact.
- Lead the evolution of our cross-functional ecosystem to accelerate growth and unlock the inherent competitive advantage.
- Monitor and interpret emerging consumer trends, competitor strategies, and market shifts to ensure the organization is ahead of the curve.
- Leverage insights from shopper data, category trends, and digital analytics to inform decision-making and strategy adjustments that enhance the overall customer experience.
- Strong understanding of both e-commerce and traditional retail ecosystems, with the ability to integrate them into a seamless consumer experience.
- Expertise in digital marketing, customer analytics, and performance measurement tools.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to influence at the executive level.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
- 15+ years of experience in digital commerce, shopper marketing, or related roles. Animal health or pharmaceutical experience a plus.
- Proven track record of leading complex omni-channel initiatives that drive significant business growth and customer engagement.
