Key Responsibilities
- Media Relations: Assist in drafting and distributing press releases, media advisories, and pitches. Monitor and track media coverage to assess the impact of PR efforts.
- Event Coordination: Help organize press conferences, media events, product launches, and other public relations activities. Coordinate logistics, including venue setup, materials preparation, and guest lists.
- Administrative Support: Maintain media contact lists, track PR expenses, and handle administrative duties as needed.
- Research: Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and target audiences to inform PR strategies and campaigns.
- Crisis Communication: Provide support during crisis communication efforts by helping prepare statements and coordinating with stakeholders.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and tools.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with design software (e.g., Canva or Adobe Creative Suite) is a bonus.
