Business Intelligence Engineer, Prime Video Advertising
Amazon is seeking a business intelligence engineer for a high visibility role supporting Prime Video Advertising. This role sits within the finance & strategy org, and provides opportunities for impactful contributions to the Prime Video business. Business intelligence engineers partner with finance, strategy, and other stakeholders to solve complex problems, including reporting & tooling automation, business analysis, and strategic planning. This role will oversee reporting and analysis of Prime Video FreeVee, and other ads related products.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Finance and Strategy managers to design reports and analyses which answer important business questions.
- Build impactful, scalable data pipelines and automated reporting products.
- Produce meaningful, timely, and actionable analyses to inform sports business decisions.
- Design and implement metrics to measure effectiveness of new products.
- Work with data engineers, economists, and product managers to optimize PV reporting and analysis infrastructure and operations.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab
- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
- Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
