Engage, connect, make a difference by joining our Community Education team as a Music Enrichment Instructor!

As a Community Education music instructor, you will teach private lessons to students during the summer. These lessons would be offered in 30-minute increments. Flexible scheduling during weekdays, per instructor's availability.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create lessons and learning environments that are appropriate for all students with varying levels of skills.
  • Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities.
  • Instructor must be able to make learning music fun and interesting for students.
  • Communicate necessary information regularly to students, colleagues, and parents regarding progress and needs. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • MN Teaching License preferred, but may not be required based on experience.
  • Knowledge and experience with a variety of instruments.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to stay focused and on task throughout class.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule.

Pay Rate:

  • MN Teaching License - $30 per hour
  • Non-License - $24.00 per hour
