Description: Our client is currently seeking a UX Product Designer! This is a long-term contract opportunity and will be HYBRID, 3 days onsite in client's Fort Worth TX 76155 location.

What You'll Do:


Design

  • Craft the visual style, interface, and interaction flow of cutting-edge applications and experiences.
  • Develop conceptual diagrams, wireframes, visual mockups, and prototypes that bring ideas to life.
  • Maintain detailed specifications and design patterns to ensure consistency and quality.

Information Architecture

  • Translate rules and assets into intuitive UX systems, programs, and enterprise solutions.
  • Prepare, manage, update, and distribute comprehensive UX documentation, including navigational flows, wireframes, mock-ups, use cases, task flows, prototypes, content, and system errors.
  • Advocate for the user and collaborate with business owners to develop features and flows that align with user needs.

UX Research

  • Create research strategies based on project KPIs and develop usability test plans, scripts, and scenarios for prototypes.
  • Use various research techniques (heuristic reviews, user interviews, remote unmoderated and in-person testing) to evaluate ease-of-use and comprehension of designs.
  • Design, recruit, schedule, and moderate usability studies and user interviews to gather valuable insights.

Project Management

  • Provide timely status reporting on all projects, including work left to do, issues, and risks.
  • Manage all communications necessary to get the project done, including negotiating with key stakeholders.

What We're Looking For:


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors Engineering, Computer Science, Visual Design, Library Sciences, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience or training.
  • 3+ years of experience as a UX practitioner with a background in user experience design, interaction design, or similar.
  • Proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools (Axure, Sketch, Zeplin, Flinto, Adobe CC, Figma).
  • Experience working closely with developers from inception through implementation in an agile environment.
  • Advanced analytical skills for solving complex data problems and implementing sustainable solutions.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines, product lines, roles, and geographical boundaries.
  • Knowledge and proficiency in using remote unmoderated testing tools and moderated testing devices and platforms.
  • In-depth understanding of both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
  • Strong grasp of user-centered design principles and current trends in web and app design.
  • Excellent organizational skills for labeling, classifying, and building flows and wireframes for complex applications.
  • Experience rapidly iterating designs for user testing and delivering to development teams.
  • Expertise in responsive, adaptive, and accessible designs.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and communicate effectively with non-technical users.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors Engineering, Computer Science, Visual Design, Library Sciences, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience or training.
  • 5+ years of experience as a UX practitioner with a background in user experience design, interaction design, or similar.
