A successful Personal Lines Producer will:
- Demonstrate a positive attitude at all times, display an understanding of present industry trends, and incorporate a consultative approach to client interaction.
- Understand and embrace the culture of CoVerica, including our Ethos (see 4 Precepts).
- Identify new business opportunities outside of agency house business and incorporate creative and self-implemented solutions to accomplish planned objectives, with or without direct supervision, adapting to challenges fluidly and with grace.
- Seek mentorship and guidance from the Personal Lines Sales Director for success in interactions with both clients and co-workers, demonstrating humility, collaborative and creative thinking, and effective conflict resolution skills.
- Work with PLSD to establish annual new business goals and be accountable for demonstrating work towards those goals as outlined in the individual compensation plan, with Key Performance Metrics to be measured both monthly and quarterly.
- Be a self-starter, displaying an ability to self-manage, with a growth mindset, positive attitude, demonstrable work ethic, entrepreneurial spirit, and willingness to learn.
- Set specific and measurable goals, prioritize tasks, and execute given directives in a timely manner while demonstrating critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- See/understand the “big picture” for the personal lines department with guidance from PLSD in coordinating prospecting and new business efforts towards measurable results.
- Attend weekly sales meetings with the department and participate in department objectives in a team-oriented environment.
- Be open to constructive criticism and coaching, and be adaptable.
- Demonstrate an established track record of identifying prospects through outbound calling, networking, soliciting, and closing self-generated new business leads.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating professionalism in dress, presentation, and demeanor at all times.
Requirements:
- Property and Casualty insurance license
- 2-6 years Sales experience preferred
- Self-starter mentality
- Ability to speak Spanish is also a plus
