Join our collaborative team providing our clients with award-winning planning, engineering, detailed design, project management, and overall project delivery. We are supporting the management of a Rail Transit Tunnel project in Los Angeles, CA that is at the stage of track installation. We are looking for a Communications, Signal and Train Control MEP Manager with construction management experience for this Los Angeles, CA project. In this role, your duties working at the site include: Understanding how to read, translate, and interpret construction plans, specifications, and codes of work being performed in the field. Witnessing and understanding testing of train control, communications, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and fire alarm equipment in the field. Monitoring construction site safety and violations, non-conformance work, and writing reports. Understanding Federal laws, State regulations, and local Building codes. Utilizing your expertise to monitor contractors’ work for compliance with schedule, budget, technical specifications, and legal requirements. Solving complex design and construction problems, ensuring the success of our projects for our clients. You will report to the Project Manager and work with the project team of inspectors, surveyors, office engineers, etc. Here's what you'll need 15+ years experience as Transit Rail Signal Inspector, with five (5) years in communication, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and fire alarm. Computer skills in Microsoft Excel and Word. Technical training in Transit Rail Signal Communication Systems. ICC or ICB certification in Building and MEP. Cal-OSHA/OSHA 30 training certification at the start of work on the project. Able to lift 25 pounds while on the project site. Posted Salary Range: Minimum $145,500.00 - Upper $227,400.00 Jacobs’ health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about.
