Reuters Video News is seeking an experienced and innovative news Cameraperson for a TEMPORARY assignment based in San Francisco. We anticipate the successful candidate being based within commutable distance to San Francisco, CA. About the Role As Cameraperson (Level 1 Journalist - Temp), you will: Cover varied news events in the U.S., including breaking news and feature stories with travel to the scene of events. Film news and feature stories using broadcast-quality video camera, DSLR, GoPro, and other camera equipment. Work autonomously when filming, whilst collaborating with colleagues within Reuters Text to cover stories such as climate change, technology, entertainment, and sports. Produce and edit content at speed and in some challenging weather conditions. Work some weekend shifts and at times, longer hours.
