Job Summary:
The Content Developer (Mid) will be an integral part of the Service Operation team, responsible for creating, editing, and managing content related to improving data management initiatives that align with the implementation of Executive Order 14028 and Memorandum 21-31. This role involves developing training materials, user guides, and documentation to support the enrollment of enterprise IT assets into the centralized logging repository. The Content Developer will engage with system owners to facilitate their enrollment and provide clear and concise independent validation and verification (IV&V) procedures for consolidated logs. Additionally, this position will support the review and approval processes for secured external website access requests (EWARS) and oversee documentation related to the Enterprise IT configuration Change Management process.
Key Responsibilities:
•Create, edit, and manage technical documentation, including user guides, training materials, and process documentation.
•Collaborate with team members to gather information and develop content that enhances understanding of data management and cybersecurity processes.
•Develop content related to the enrollment of enterprise IT assets into the centralized logging repository, ensuring it adheres to established schemas and standards.
•Engage with system owners to facilitate smooth enrollment processes and provide necessary documentation to support these activities.
•Produce clear and concise materials for independent validation and verification (IV&V) of consolidated logs.
•Provide content support for the review and approval of secured external website access requests (EWARS).
•Document and oversee the Enterprise IT configuration Change Management process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies.
•Utilize feedback from stakeholders to continuously improve content quality and relevance.
Unique Skills/Tasks/Software:
•Strong knowledge of Cybersecurity SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Elastic).
•Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform applications (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate).
•Experience with Atlassian Software products (JIRA, Confluence, Service Desk, etc.) for documentation and project tracking.
Preferred Certifications:
•PMI Project Management Professional (PMP)
•Splunk Core Certified Power User
•ITIL v4 Practice Manager (PM)
•Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate
Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree in Communication, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
•Minimum 3 years of experience in content development, technical writing, or related fields.
•Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate complex topics clearly.
•Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and data management practices is a plus.
•Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with various stakeholders.
