Position Marketing Associate This position reports to the Director of Marketing. The successful candidate will be introduced to the companys ERP system (Netsuite) and operation procedure. This is a full-time, 40-hours-per-week position with hours Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5:30 pm (30-minute lunch break). Qualification and Skills 1) Associate Degree or Bachelors Degree in the Business discipline. 2) Two years in marketing preffered. 3) Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft applications. Must be able to manage large CSV reports and understand Excel formulas. 4) Must be highly organized, detail-oriented and self-motivated. 5) Must exhibit strong communication and analytical skills. 6) Hands-on experience on social media platforms. 7) 1-2 years of eCommerce CMS platform experience. Shopify experience preferred. 8) Basic Hands-on experience on Adobe Suite preferred. 9) Hands-on experience on ERP platform. Netsuite experience preferred. Work Specifications 1) Ensure the accuracy and management of product data for the website, catalog, and sales applications. This includes coordinating with the manufacturer and copywriter to produce accurate product descriptions and information for on-time catalog production and website launch. 2) Manage the digital assets library that supports marketing efforts, ensuring project and timeline deadlines are met. This includes archiving and organizing all images. Execute basic cropping/editing. Coordinate with 3rd party image production team to ensure the quality and consistency of the image. Ensure timely image production. 3) Organize weekly eblast contents. This includes the update and managing the digital marketing contact list. 4) Manage social media posts and engagements, ensuring to adhere to the brand standards and social media policies of Blue Ocean Traders. Respond to daily customers inquiries, aid or re-direct them to the appropriate Sales members. 5) Catalog production. This includes gathering accurate contents, auditing/proofing and generating product index. 6) Manage the websites content management system (CMS) and its integrations. This includes precise housekeeping, data transfer, cleanup, and migration by working closely with website developers. 7) Provide analytics reporting that identifies shopper/online and industry trends, KPI website metrics, online product sales performance metrics, and other metrics that support Blue Ocean Traders strategic and growth objectives. 8) Coordinate with the developer on website improvement and implementation, ensuring accurate launch. 9) Perform additional marketing related tasks when needed. Compensation 1) Annual gross salary range from $49,000 to $59,000. Monthly paycheck paid on the 7th and 22nd. 2) 5% quarterly bonus if company quarter goals are reached. Additional 5% annual bonus if annual goal is met. 3) Simple IRA match, up to 3%. 4) First $275 toward medical plan per month. 5) 6 Paid holidays.
