JOB DESCRIPTION JOB TITLE: Marketing Communications Specialist EMPLOYER: Conn Kavanaugh Rosenthal, Peisch & Ford, LLP REPORTS TO: Director of Marketing SUMMARY: Supports and/or leads the development and execution of marketing programs and events, client and internal communications initiatives, and production of marketing materials. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: ? Develops clear understanding of event and/or program strategy and supports the development of detailed execution plan; coordinates with marketing director and vendors to execute plan within time and budget constraints. ? Assists marketing director to develop client and internal communications strategy, associated plan, and key messages. ? Interfaces with outside vendors to execute communications plans. ? Measures, records, and presents results of each initiative to marketing director; recommends changes to improve effectiveness. ? Oversees production of marketing materials; monitors for accuracy, quality and firm identity guidelines. ? Monitors inventory levels and replenishes as needed to support marketing communications and sales initiatives. ? Regularly reviews company website content; ensures web content is on-strategy, consistent with firm identity guidelines, and updates. ? Interfaces with webmaster to ensure web site content is regularly updated. ? Manages firm sponsorships and events, including invitations, follow-up, provides names to sponsoring organization, initiates and gathers materials to fulfill sponsorship benefits. ? Conceives, schedules, writes and proofs social media posts, manages the process, checks what runs and shares links within the firm. ? Reviews and enters invoices into spreadsheet, checks expenses versus budget. ? Posts ongoing updates and news announcements on company intranet. QUALIFICATIONS: ? Bachelors degree (B.A./B.S.) in related field or equivalent ? 3-5 years of related experience or equivalent, optimally at a marketing or advertising agency and/or in a law firm marketing department. ? Ability to manage priorities and workflow ? Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm ?
