WHY YOU WOULD BE A FIT?

We're seeking an enthusiastic and driven intern to support our Marketing team. This high-impact position will provide lead generation and creative support through the development of compelling content to help achieve our business goals. If you're looking for valuable career experience, this position will serve as a training ground for a successful pathway into marketing roles with demonstrated success.

You will be responsible for putting together targeted email campaigns to engage potential and current customers. Your day-to-day responsibilities will also entail supporting the marketing team in meeting deadlines for the content calendar, customer and driver newsletters, and event planning. This position will work directly with the Marketing team, but will also support the Sales team in creating effective tools and resources to ensure their success.

YOUR ASSIGNMENT (should you choose us and we choose you!)

  • Design and write compelling and targeted email campaigns aimed at engaging both prospective and existing customers.
  • Segment customer lists to tailor messaging based on customer profiles and behaviors.
  • Use email marketing tools (HubSpot) to schedule and send campaigns.
  • Assist in writing and editing content for customer and driver newsletters, ensuring it aligns with the overall marketing strategy and company voice.
  • Help brainstorm and create content ideas for blogs, social media, and other marketing collateral.
  • Support with the creation of visual content (graphics, social media posts) as needed.
  • Coordinate event logistics such as booking venues, arranging travel, and organizing promotional materials.
  • Promote events through email campaigns, social media, and internal communications to drive attendance and engagement.
  • Help develop and update sales enablement tools, such as product sheets or email templates, that align with current campaigns and customer needs.
  • Ensure that all marketing projects, from content creation to email campaigns, are aligned with the content calendar and completed on time.
  • Track project timelines and communicate progress to the marketing team to ensure deadlines are consistently met.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM & DISPATCH
  • Experience: Prior coursework, internships, or projects in marketing, content creation, or event planning are preferred. (e.g., class projects, internships, or campus organizations)
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with email marketing tools like HubSpot, design software like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze campaign data and provide actionable insights to improve performance.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on creating engaging and clear content.
  • Adaptability: Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and contribute to a positive team environment.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to [describe specific problem-solving scenarios, e.g., "identify root causes" or "develop creative solutions"].
  • Knowledge of SEO principles, social media platforms, and analytics tools such as Google Analytics is a plus.
  • Familiarity with event planning and coordination.
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
Internship Details
  • Pay: $17/hour
  • Duration: May 19, 2024 - August 15, 2024
  • Work Hours: 30-40 hours per week
