Senior Business Development Manager - Enterprise / Display Ads - U.S.

In This Role You Will:

Lead sales efforts with a primary focus on non-travel advertisers and agencies, while also managing some travel clients as needed. Build strategies that highlight Expedia Group's audience value beyond traditional travel categories, identifying opportunities in sectors like retail, lifestyle, and entertainment to position Expedia as the advertising partner of choice through tailored, data-driven campaigns. Develop and implement strategies to maximize partnerships, driving growth through regular engagement, innovative marketing opportunities, and seamless value delivery. Own the entire sales process, from prospecting to crafting customized solutions, delivering high-impact campaigns across domestic and international platforms, and driving growth through strategic up-selling and cross-selling. Oversee campaign launches and day-to-day partnership management, collaborating across internal teams (e.g., supply, marketing, operations) to ensure flawless execution and optimization. Drive performance improvements by leveraging insights and ROI analyses to enhance revenue from non-travel partnerships. Build a pipeline of high-potential opportunities, managing and reviewing progress regularly to secure profitable partnerships. Cultivate client relationships as a trusted advisor, offering creative, consultative solutions to advance their business objectives. Forecast media revenue based on market research and partner insights while collaborating with internal teams to refine strategies and innovate offerings. Consistently exceed quarterly revenue goals, typically surpassing $1,000,000 USD.

Experience and qualifications: Minimum 5-7 years in media sales or a related field with a BA/BS degree or equivalent experience. Strong Knowledge of the Media Landscape: Possess a deep understanding of the digital and social media landscape, staying ahead of trends and identifying innovative opportunities for clients. Experience in Travel or Tourism is a plus. Expertise in Non-Travel Advertising: Strong familiarity with non-travel advertisers and media agencies, especially in the Northeast, including New York, Boston, Philadelphia, and Washington D.C. Driven hunter with the relentless ambition to grow the business: this role offers the opportunity to make a measurable impact on our non-travel advertising reach. Sales Acumen: Proven track record of meeting/exceeding revenue targets through consultative, strategic selling and effective C-level engagement. Problem-Solver: Skilled in analyzing partner needs and creating innovative solutions that enhance Media Solutions' value. Growth-Oriented & Adaptable: Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, embraces a growth mindset, and continuously seeks opportunities to elevate results. Collaborator: Able to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment, with a growth-oriented mindset. Travel is required; a valid passport is highly recommended.

Compensation: The total cash range for this position in Boston is $138,500.00 to $194,000.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $221,500.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
