About the Position Our Client seeks to engage one Information Technology Security Consultant/Technical Writer with expertise in writing technical documents as well as understanding information technology environment and system security needs. The project requires a consultant to review and revise the Client's Data Security and Safeguarding Plan (DSSP). Authorized access and authentication for authorized access; Privacy compliance standards; Privacy and security audits; Breach notification and procedures; Data retention and disposition policies; Requirements
Basic Qualifications and Requirements: Mandatory Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology Writing / Security, or a related field, having 3-5 years of work experience in a similar background. Proven experience in developing, revising, aligning and writing IT Security standards, particularly in best security practices. Experience in writing technical documents. Familiarity with IT security policies. Education/Work Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology Writing / Security, or a related field with 3-5 years of experience.
