Alcm is hiring: Director of Music Ministries Lutheran Church of the Epiphany in

Lutheran Church of the Epiphany is a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. We are seeking a 30-hour per week Director of Music Ministries. The Director of Music Ministries works in partnership with the Pastor, Worship and Music Committee, Staff, Key Leaders, and other musicians to oversee a vibrant music ministry.

Located three miles from Wake Forest University and six miles from UNC School of the Arts, Epiphany has a 20-member adult choir, 12-member handbell choir, as well as several members who sing and play various musical instruments. We have one worship service on Sunday morning at 10 am, primarily using Evangelical Lutheran Worship.

Epiphany is excited to announce the installation of a new pipe organ built by Lewtak Organ Builders in late 2025. The current pipe organ will be removed in early 2025. Candidates should be aware that we will be using our Schimmel baby grand piano as the primary instrument for accompaniment throughout much of 2025.

Job Details

• Hours per week: 30
• Salary: $40,000-$45,000 annually, commensurate with experience
• Paid Time Off: 4 weeks, including 4 Sundays
