Amazon’s Global Marketing Team is focused on maximizing the value of Amazon’s customer base for all Amazon properties worldwide. The team is highly results-oriented and focuses on leveraging in-house technology to automate and scale marketing programs that drive new customers and maximize lifetime value through measurable marketing programs and channels. New customers include those new to Amazon overall and those who are new to specific Amazon verticals or properties beyond Amazon.com.

We are looking for a seasoned senior marketer to join our Social Advertising team to help build our growing social media advertising team. The Social Advertising team focuses on leveraging all viable social media advertising platforms to grow Amazon businesses. As a Senior Marketing Manager, you will assess marketing capabilities, prioritize new strategies, run experiments, and scale successful strategies. Primary objectives include acquiring new customers, encouraging high-value actions, and directly generating revenue.

Key Job Responsibilities

  1. Work cross-functionally with engineering to develop new automated programs from end to end.
  2. Define experimental frameworks and optimize campaign setups for driving meaningful insights.
  3. Define the metrics and processes needed to standardize the management of advertising campaigns.
  4. Work directly with social networks to understand platform capabilities and explore marketing campaigns.
  5. Design and carry out well-structured experiments (including tracking, measuring, and reporting).
  6. Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders and teams to iterate on objectives and opportunities.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  1. 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  2. Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  3. Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts, and pivot tables)
  4. Experience building, executing, and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Experience using SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis
  2. Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting
