A full time Marketing Assistant is needed for a contemporary denim brand sold in all the best department stores and online (Shopbop, Revolve, etc). This position will support the Director of Marketing & Communications, and coordinate with other departments to effectively assist and execute Marketing activities for the company. This role is onsite 4 days/1 day remote.


RESPONSIBILITIES


  1. Independently coordinate marketing initiatives, including:
    • Tracking project status;
    • Communicating with vendors;
    • Note keeping;
    • Ordering marketing collateral.
  2. Partner with PR Coordination in the management, tracking, and allocation of all agency and in-house Marketing sample inventory, assisting in loans to wholesale and PR partners as needed.
  3. Own all packaging and gifting inventory, order placements and distribution.
  4. Support the Director of Marketing & Communications and Senior Manager of Wholesale Marketing in wholesale marketing requests, from visual assets to marketing materials.
  5. In partnership with PR Coordinator and Social Media Coordinator, submit all product orders and returns.
  6. Build and manage key partnerships internally across marketing, merchandising, creative, design, and ops.
  7. Facilitate meeting recaps.
  8. Sit in on marketing meetings and brainstorms; actively participate in the development of marketing strategies.
  9. Provide event planning assistance for internal and external events as necessary.
  10. Perform ad hoc duties to support the marketing team.

REQUIREMENTS


  1. Bachelor’s degree, in Communications or Marketing preferred.
  2. 1-2 years relevant Public Relations, Communications or Marketing experience in the fashion industry.
  3. Must have strong organizational and project management skills, as well as attention to detail.
  4. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; and outstanding copywriting and proofreading skills.
  5. Firm grasp on various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including social, digital, and email marketing.
  6. Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines and tasks.
  8. Strong knowledge of the fashion industry.
  9. Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign), Joor, and Launchmetrics experience a plus.

Salary: $25/hr DOE
