The Part-Time Marketing Assistant will work alongside the Marketing Manager helping to maintain company marketing efforts such as equipment mockups, social media management, and fulfilling customer sample requests. They will also work directly with the Sales and Production teams on special projects and presentations as well as assist the administrative staff with tasks as needed.
As a Legend Fitness Marketing Assistant you will be responsible for:
- Social media marketing and management (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter).
- Equipment mockups requested by the sales team.
- Photo and video editing.
- Writing and editing copy for online advertisements, blogs, and websites.
- Other tasks as assigned by management.
Experience, education, and background desired for this position:
- Current student studying marketing, graphic design, sports management, or equivalent in need of internship hours/experience.
- 1-2 years experience in a marketing role, or the equivalent work experience ideal.
- Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign).
- Must be proficient in Apple iOS.
- Proficient knowledge of basic office suite software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Google and Mac equivalents).
- Good organizational and project management skills.
- Must be comfortable with working on several projects at once.
- Strong sense of customer service.
- The ability to clearly communicate technical information with co-workers, vendors, and potential customers.
- Familiarity with the operation of video cameras, lighting for video, and video editing software is a plus.
- Must have reliable means of transportation.
Pay, Scheduling, and Location details:
- The Marketing Assistant position is a temporary, paid part-time position.
- 20-25 hours a week.
- Office hours can be discussed based on current school schedule (if applicable).
- Typical hours otherwise would be 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, 3 days a week.
- Remote work is not offered for this role.
