Responsible for fixed and flexible tasks that support Sunkist marketing across multiple platforms and responsibilities. Collaborate with sales and marketing team members to run successful tradeshow events with cohesive branding, engaging promotions, retail-focused marketing materials, store and merchandising fulfillment and cohesive plans. Collaborates with others in the organization to achieve brand consistency, coordination of messages, and the highest standards of external marketing and communications. Assists key stakeholders and team members in all Sunkist Marketing efforts.
Essential Job Functions/Duties:
- Performs a range of marketing duties related to the daily operations of Sunkist Marketing team, including but not limited to tradeshows/events, the Sunkist store fulfillment and maintenance, marketing material distribution, and supports various other projects and marketing efforts.
- Coordinates and assists tradeshow design, logistics, and events including planning, orders of materials, payments, and agency collaboration with show set-up/implementation. Oversees budget compliance, booth presence, shipping, BEO forms, etc.
- Assists and coordinates the in-house creation, ordering, and printing of various point of sale materials needed for sales, national and regional trade shows.
- Coordinates and acts as liaison with contractors and external vendors for tradeshow/event needs (print ads, video, graphic design, marketing content, etc.).
- Assists in the management of the Sunkist online store and fulfillment house, including updating downloadable materials, proof approvals for new items, research for developing new promotional and premium items, assisting the sales team with custom promo orders, confirming post order completion, and managing new promotional inventory numbers.
- Maintains records of promotional giveaway inventory, manages budget, checks and replenishes inventory as needed, and plans buying ahead of time to ensure the best price breaks.
- Assists in the development and implementation of marketing promotions and programs, including sell sheets, point-of-sale materials, trafficking through the legal department for approvals.
- Leads consumer response inquiries and reports – first line of response and distribution to various teams/departments for voicemails, emails, etc. for consumers. Completes monthly report of calls received and how addressed.
- Organizes and supports special events outside of traditional tradeshows supporting the Sunkist organization. Collaborates with various departments in the strategy, execution, and planning of events.
- Performs some accounting duties such as submitting invoices, handling deposits and check requests, and creating and processing expense reports through the proper accounting system(s).
- Interacts with all levels of employees in Marketing, Sales, Varietal Management, and Finance.
- Performs other related duties and projects assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.
- Attends meetings as requested.
Minimum Qualifications (Education, Certifications/Licenses, and Experience):
- 2 - 4 years of experience in an administrative or coordinator position, preferably within a marketing environment.
- Preferred 4 Year / Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field.
- Minimum High School or GED.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint a must).
- Results-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work with multiple departments within the organization and juggle ongoing projects simultaneously.
- Experience with budgeting and invoice processing is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and carry out assignments to completion within the parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
- Initiates and identifies opportunities to support the team, with relentless attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform basic math, including calculations using fractions, percentages, and/or ratios.
- Strong awareness of marketing best practices.
- Budget and cost analysis experience.
- Knowledge of social media platforms.
