Position Overview:

The Lead Generation Marketing Manager is responsible for creating and executing strategies to generate leads for our business, working closely with our external digital agency. This position oversees all aspects of lead generation campaigns, from identifying target audiences and developing creative content to monitoring performance and optimizing campaigns for maximum impact. The Lead Generation Marketing Manager will help us identify the best ways to reach the brands we serve via conferences, events, brand and industry-specific webinars, and through referrals.

Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with the digital agency to create and execute lead generation campaigns across multiple channels, including email, social media, paid search, and display advertising.
  2. Develop and implement lead scoring and nurturing processes to convert leads into customers.
  3. Analyze campaign performance data and provide regular reporting to senior management, using insights to optimize campaigns for maximum ROI.
  4. Work with the marketing agency to develop creative content, landing pages, and email templates that are optimized for lead conversion.
  5. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our target audiences, and use this knowledge to inform campaign strategy and messaging.
  6. Manage the lead database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information and implementing data privacy and security protocols.
  7. Collaborate with the sales team to align lead generation efforts with overall business goals and ensure a smooth handoff of leads to the sales team.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in lead generation, and use this knowledge to continually improve our campaigns.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in lead generation marketing, preferably in an SMB context.
  3. Strong project management skills, with the ability to simultaneously manage multiple campaigns.
  4. Demonstrated expertise in using digital channels to generate leads, including email marketing, social media advertising, and search engine marketing.
  5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  6. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to inform campaign strategy and optimization.
  7. Familiarity with sales and marketing automation tools such as Pardot, Salesforce, and SalesLoft is preferred.

Performance Indicators:

  1. Number of leads generated.
  2. Conversion rate.
  3. Lead-to-close ratio.
  4. Return on investment (ROI) by lead source and optimization of spend.
  5. Engagement rate.
  6. Growth in monthly recurring revenue (MRR) and new brands.
