Job Title: Web Developer
Location: Remote (with potential occasional travel)
Employment Type: Full-Time (2,080 hours annually)About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Web Developer to join our team supporting a USAID project focused on Private Sector Engagement (PSE) and localization training and consultation services. This role involves designing, maintaining, and enhancing web-based training modules, online repositories, and related digital content to support USAID's Acquisition and Assistance (A&A) workforce.   • Design, develop, and maintain web-based training modules, toolkits, and other digital resources for USAID's PSE program.
  • Update and enhance the PSE Repository, ensuring resources are accessible, up-to-date, and aligned with USAID policies.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and trainers to create interactive, user-friendly e-learning tools and resources.
  • Develop and maintain online case studies, white papers, and multimedia learning materials, including infographics, videos, and animations.
  • Ensure all web content complies with USAID branding and accessibility standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, optimizing website performance and functionality.
  • Stay abreast of web development trends and integrate innovative features to enhance user engagement.
Required Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in web development, preferably with a focus on e-learning or training platforms.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant content management systems.
  • Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and multimedia production.
  • Strong understanding of user experience (UX) design and accessibility standards.
  • Familiarity with USAID programs, branding guidelines, or government contracts is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience developing interactive learning tools (e.g., gamified learning modules, simulations).
  • Knowledge of SCORM or other e-learning standards.
  • Familiarity with USAID's Collaborate, Learn, & Adapt (CLA) approach or similar frameworks.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities and work collaboratively with diverse teams.
Work Environment:
  • Primarily remote
  • Occasional travel may be necessary to USAID headquarters in Washington, D.C.
