Politico is hiring: Congress Reporter, E&E News in Arlington

Politico, Arlington, VA, United States, 22201

POLITICO's E&E News is seeking an eager and enterprising reporter to join our Congress team to cover how the new power dynamic in Washington will reshape energy, environment and climate policy.

Our E&E Congress team is a collegial and dynamic group within POLITICO's newsroom that breaks news, crafts features and writes explainers that make sense of it all on Capitol Hill. We also collaborate across the broader E&E News and POLITICO policy teams to ensure our stories are timely and provide the right context for the news of the day.

We're looking for a fast writer who can explain complicated issues in clear, compelling ways. And we want a reporter who is hungry for scoops that will distinguish us from the competition.

Knowledge of Congress is a must. Experience covering Capitol Hill is preferred. In your application, please include a resume, cover letter and six clips that demonstrate a track record of scoops, enterprising reporting and illuminating writing relevant to this beat.

We are driven by our values. We are relentless contributors, disruptors of the status quo, collaborators, talent cultivators and DEI stewards. Our culture is defined by grit, total integrity and a prioritization on innovation.

We value our people. Click here for more on what we offer and what it's like to work for POLITICO.
