Experience as a circulating Nurse with at least 1 year of OR experience Knowledge of different surgical specialties Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. Ability to scrub on certain cases Ability to provide conscious sedation or a willingness to learn List typical procedures performed in the ORs: Standard Out-patient surgeries such as Orthopedic, Plastics, eyes, ENT, General, Urology, Pain, Podiatry Best personality Fit: Team player with the willingness to put the patient and surgeon s needs before personal desires. REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: RN license to work in the State of Alaska ACLS, PALS, BLS Floating Area(s): We are affiliated with three out-patient surgery centers within a few miles of each other and there might be a need in the other ASCs as well.
