TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified OR RN in Anchorage, Alaska, 99508 Pay Information $2,699 per week About The Position Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Operating Room Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Monday through Friday, 06:45 - 15:15 Guaranteed Hours: Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a circulating nurse with at least 1 year of OR experience License: RN license for the State of Alaska Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Must-Have: - Experience as a circulating nurse with knowledge of different surgical specialties - Team player attitude, prioritizing patient and surgeon needs - Willingness to learn conscious sedation Job Description: - Work in a multi-specialty center with 8 operating rooms and 23 Pre-op/PACU Bays - Collaborate with a team consisting of 1 RN and 1 Surgical Technician per room - Participate in relief teams for breaks and lunches - Handle standard outpatient surgeries including Orthopedic, Plastics, Eyes, ENT, General, Urology, Pain, and Podiatry - Use all equipment associated with outpatient day surgery procedures - Follow a dress code of scrubs and mandatory PPE (no nail polish or fragrances) - Follow all unit guidelines and standard policies and procedures during onboarding - Floating may be required within affiliated outpatient surgery centers nearby - No weekend or holiday work required - Possible late crew assignments for cases extending past 15:30 hours 26729901EXPTEMP Job Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS BLS Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam 5 Benefits of Travel Nursing If you have a sense of adventure, travel nursing provides the opportunity to explore different cities, states, or even countries.
