Client Overview : Our client is a global company headquartered in New York offering a full lifestyle line spanning skincare, lip care, body care, and fragrance in over a dozen countries. Role Overview : You will build their global social media strategy as it pertains to global market strategy, global and local influencer strategy, partnership with Creative on content, etc This person will look at their launch and campaign calendar with Brand Marketing and understand how to bring these campaigns to life on a global scale. This role will report into Sr Director of Paid Earned and Owned Media. Social Media Strategist Responsibilities: Build comprehensive and innovative social media strategies from the ground up, ensuring alignment with overarching brand goals and objectives. Leverage your extensive network and deep understanding of influencer marketing to identify and partner with influencers who align with brand values and resonate with target audiences. Ensure influencer strategies are targeted, impactful, and drive measurable results. Work closely with the creative team to develop content that drives engagement and aligns with the social media strategy. Ensure creative assets are optimized for each platform and audience. Stay on top of social media trends, emerging platforms, and new technologies, and leverage these insights to innovate and refine social media strategies. Collaborate with internal teams, including paid media, communications, and public relations, to ensure integrated social strategies that drive both organic and paid growth. Use analytics to monitor, assess, and optimize social media campaigns and strategies, providing actionable insights and recommendations to continuously improve performance. Provide regular reports to senior leadership on the effectiveness of social media strategies, influencer partnerships, and campaign performance. Social Media Strategist Qualifications: 8-10 years of experience in social media, influencer marketing, communications, media, or related digital media fields. Experience in the beauty or luxury industry is highly preferred. Strong network of influencers and a deep understanding of what types of influencers work best across various platforms and industries. In-depth knowledge of all major social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.) and how to tailor strategies to each. Ability to work closely with creative teams to develop compelling, on-brand content that resonates with target audiences. Strong ability to analyze social media data, track performance metrics, and provide actionable insights.
