Examples of Typical Activities:

  • Collaborate with external agencies and internal teams to design, develop, and finalize layouts for packaging, POP displays, labels, and instructional materials, ensuring integration of graphic and technical writing components.
  • Lead brainstorming and creative sessions to generate innovative design and content ideas that align with the company's brand identity and product positioning.
  • Utilize AI tools to automate repetitive tasks, improve content accuracy, and streamline graphic design and writing workflows.
  • Oversee the development of clear, concise, and user-friendly instructional materials, ensuring they meet safety regulations, compliance standards, and customer needs.
  • Manage the end-to-end approval process for all artwork, technical content, and designs by coordinating with stakeholders, including legal, quality assurance, and production teams.
  • Partner with the product development team to ensure packaging and labeling are functional, durable, and aligned with product specifications.
  • Direct and allocate internal resources effectively, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining high-quality output.
  • Monitor trends in packaging, graphic design, and technical writing to implement innovative practices and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Oversee proofing and revision cycles with external agencies, printers, and internal quality control teams to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Create and maintain documentation for all design and writing processes to ensure scalability and repeatability.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for team members on best practices for graphic development, technical writing, and AI tool usage.


Required Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Technical Writing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in graphic design, technical writing, or project management roles, with a focus on packaging and instructional materials.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools for content creation, graphic design, or workflow optimization.
  • Previous experience in agency or in-house design environments is strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple complex projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.


Required Technical Competencies:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to produce technical documentation and user-friendly materials.
  • Expertise in graphic design principles, tools, and trends, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work in packaging and instructional materials.
  • In-depth knowledge of packaging design, production processes, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proficiency with AI tools and their applications in design and content creation.
  • Advanced proficiency in the following tools:
    • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
    • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Design proofing and collaboration tools (e.g., Adobe Acrobat, InVision)
    • Workflow management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana, Monday.com)


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with user experience (UX) design principles and their application in packaging and instructional materials.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or consumer goods environment.
  • Strong understanding of global packaging standards and regulations.
