Location: Onsite Daily (Manhattan, NY)

We are seeking an experienced Technical Designer to join our team, for Multiple Categories: Bra, Panty, Intimates, Apparel, Sleep, or Sport. In this role, you will support your category of expertise, while leveraging your skills to help ensure the development of high-quality products. You will be responsible for executing the technical design process from initial development to final fit, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver garments that meet our fit, comfort, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and manage the technical design process from development through to final fit.
• Evaluate and analyze garments to ensure the correct fit specifications are developed.
• Collaborate with design teams to ensure design intent is met, adhering to our fit, comfort, and quality standards.
• Develop and communicate technical specifications, including fit comments and pattern corrections, to vendors and factories for approval.
• Conduct and/or participate in fittings, providing expert feedback on fit adjustments and ensuring that all products are made in accordance with established fit, quality, and cost specifications.
• Partner closely with factories to monitor quality, integrity of design, and meet targeted price points.
• Utilize industry-standard tools such as Excel, Illustrator, Centric, and Flex PLM for technical documentation and communication.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion, Apparel Design, or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of garment fitting, pattern making, and correction processes.
• Ability to conduct and lead fittings, provide fit comments, and make necessary pattern adjustments.
• Proficient in Centric, Excel, Illustrator, Flex PLM, and other related software tools.
