$45.00 - $51.50 Per Hour

Contract through April 2025

Monday – Friday; 40 hours per week

Manhattan, NY

What you’ll be doing:

• Individual Contributor Position
• Execute the technical design process from development to final fitting
• Analyze and evaluate garments to create accurate fit specifications
• Ensure that products are developed in accordance with established fit quality standards, manufacturer capabilities, and cost specifications
• Develop technical specifications and communicate fit requirements to vendors and factories for approvals and necessary corrections
• Make appropriate adjustments with factories as needed to maintain the integrity of approved design prototypes while monitoring quality and targeted pricing
• Typically reports to the Technical Services Manager
• This role may also direct the work of Assistant or Associate Technical Designers

Who we’re looking for:

• 7+ years’ experience in technical design with intimates/apparel
• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, or equivalent experience
• Looking for resources that have participated or owned their own fittings, can write up fit comments & pattern correction, have centric training, excel/illustrator/Flex PLM etc.
