Job Summary

Working alongside build partners, marketing, and sales teams, you’ll align design goals with business objectives to achieve seamless, impactful results. Most importantly, you’ll guide clients on a journey from imagination to realization, helping them see their dream spaces come alive in ways they never thought possible.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Design aesthetically pleasing and functional spaces tailored to client requirements and specifications.
- Assess property layouts and strategically place furnishings, décor, and design elements to optimize appeal and functionality.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, build partners, and sales teams to integrate design concepts into construction plans effectively.
- Source and manage inventory, ensuring materials and furnishings meet project specifications and align with current design trends.
- Select appropriate furnishings, décor, color schemes, and lighting to enhance visual impact and marketability.
- Use 3D design software (e.g., SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit) to develop detailed layout plans.
- Oversee project installations, including booking transport, coordinating labor, and ensuring designs align with client-approved plans.
- Track project expenses and ensure accurate back-end billing to builders.
- Conduct site visits to oversee installations, ensure quality standards, and address any challenges.
- Provide follow-up services to address client feedback and maintain long-term satisfaction.
- Use project management tools (e.g., Procore) to document progress, update project folders, and maintain transparent communication with stakeholders.
- Create final project reports with insights, challenges, and recommendations for future improvements.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
- Interior Design certifications (e.g., NCIDQ, CID, or equivalent) are a plus.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in space planning, with a focus on outdoor living or similar environments.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction documents.
- Strong understanding of material selection, particularly weather-resistant and outdoor-specific materials.
- Proven experience with 3D design software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of outdoor design principles, including lighting, landscaping, and functional zoning.
- Familiarity with Procore is a plus.
