ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a Social Media Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the voice and social presence of our diverse clients as well as our own Truth Collective brand. This position requires a blend of creativity, research prowess, and strategic thinking to develop comprehensive content strategies that align with each client's business goals.
You will be at the forefront of developing and implementing comprehensive, creative social media strategies to increase brand awareness, distinction, web traffic, and audience reach across channels for the Agency and our clients.
ABOUT THE WORK:
Social Media Strategy & Planning:
- Plan, manage, and execute social media content for owned channels, partnering with creative teams to create engaging content across platforms and to build and maintain online communities.
- Participate in multi-team client projects to design social media strategies to achieve clients' marketing goals.
- Identify social media opportunities and develop strategic plans for the Agency and clients that will drive engagement, leads, and sales.
- Stay up to date on new digital technologies, social channels, and social media best practices.
- Advocate for social media and educate the Agency and clients on its value.
- Maintain a consistent, high presence for Truth Collective in relevant social channels.
- Populate social media content calendars and schedule and post content based on deadlines.
- Analyze social media performance, competitor activity, and trends to identify areas for improvement. Recommend data-driven strategies and content adjustments to optimize performance and achieve marketing goals.
- Lead "social listening" practice, staying abreast of audience sentiment and making proactive recommendations to maximize opportunities or manage risks.
- Lead social media reporting and analysis for Agency and client activity.
- Perform social media audits to understand competitive landscapes.
- Present work to internal and external stakeholders.
- Act as a liaison with creative teams and other departments to ensure continuity and efficiency.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and company's success.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in social media strategy or a related field.
- Strong research skills and the ability to distill complex information into clear, engaging social strategies.
- Creative writing skills to be applied in presentation creation, social media posts, and editorial content.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Extensive knowledge of social platforms, their purpose, and how to create content, post content, and optimize for better performance.
- Proficiency in social media listening tools/platforms.
- Effective cross-functional collaboration to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to managing campaigns across teams.
- Innovation and learning mindset by staying informed and activating developments in AI, marketing technologies, and content trends.
- Professional experience with AI tools, including Gemini and ChatGPT.
- Familiarity with prompt engineering basics and content generation tools, ensuring that outputs align with brand voice, campaign goals, and audience engagement strategies.
- Experience in Brand Planning and Communications Planning.
