to drive the strategic direction of the organization’s marketing and communications efforts using leading-edge technology, compelling storytelling, and collaborative teamwork. As the Vice President of Marketing & Communications, you will oversee all external and internal communications, media relations, digital engagement, and marketing initiatives. The VP serves as a member of the senior leadership team and possesses the courage to make challenging decisions, foster cross-functional collaboration, and deliver measurable results. This role requires strong leadership skills, expertise in stakeholder engagement, and the ability to translate the association's vision into compelling narratives and measurable strategies. In this role, you will blend strategic vision with tactical execution and serve as a collaborative leader adept at fostering relationships with internal teams, members, and industry stakeholders. This position reports to the President & CEO and leads a team of three communications, marketing, and data professionals. Qualified candidates offer: Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. 15 years of progressively responsible experience leading communications and marketing efforts, preferably within an association, nonprofit, or related sector. 8 years in a management role. Experience using technology, including AI and other future-forward technologies, to streamline processes, increase effectiveness, and maximize resources. Collaborative nature and the ability to think strategically.
