The Facilities Management Division' s Security section is seeking to hire a

Career Service

Functional Analyst II

that will work as our Radio and Security Systems Coordinator. This role will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the distribute antenna system (DAS) and other security system functions for FMD managed buildings and facilities. The incumbent supports, troubleshoots, and coordinates maintenance of the in building distributed antenna systems (BDA).

This role will be working with Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS). Our most competitive applicants will have demonstrated experience with DAS. This role is part of our security section. Who We Are: The Facilities Management Division at King County

Job Duties

Perform Public Safety and/or Cellular coverage studies Coordinate, and schedule maintenance for BDA or DAS battery backup units and alarming modules per code requirements Troubleshoot PSERN 800Mhz two-way radio system Prepare, complete and maintain appropriate documentation and work tracking in accurate and timely manner Field customer concerns and complaints; collecting and verifying information Schedule and coordinate maintenance contractors and third-party vendors. Follow up with customers to ensure issue resolution and customer satisfaction. Reconcile work requests and vendor invoices. Assist the Security Systems Specialist in administering, maintaining, testing, and monitoring badging and camera systems Assist the Security Systems Specialist in administration technical support for CJIS hardware and firmware Perform other duties as assigned Experience, Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills

Required Knowledge/Skills

Basic knowledge of distributive antenna system technology and components Knowledge of current distributive antenna practices and procedures Knowledge on emergency service radio functions and basic understanding of 800 MHz radio technology Communication and customer service skills Preferred Knowledge:

Experience with DAS Systems and low voltage, audio visual, security, and/or paging systems. Skill in handling multiple competing priorities and sensitive situations, working under deadlines and mandated time constraints Attention to detail and strong analytical skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software Ability to interpret and follow design drawings, blueprints, and installation guides to ensure proper system installation

Education and Experience Requirements

Graduation from High School or equivalent

Any combination of experience/education/training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the work.

Licensing, Certification and Other Requirements

Washington State Driver License

Must pass a CJIS background check to qualify

Additional licenses, certifications, completion of trainings (CCure 9000 Systems Installer and Maintainer and and/or VictorEdge Installer) and other requirements determined to be necessary to meet the business needs of the employing unit may be required.

Perform rotating on-call schedule is required.

Onsite work required; some hybrid work may be approved.
