WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
This Senior Marketing Data Analyst will drive client success by playing a lead role in growing and evolving the agency's analytics practice. We're looking for someone who can analyze marketing data to understand what's working and why, and then use those insights to develop and refine marketing strategies that help the client drive business outcomes. This role requires a strong analytical mindset and a creative and strategic thinker who can translate data into actionable plans.
WHAT OUR SENIOR MARKETING DATA ANALYST WILL DO ONCE THEY'RE HERE Lead the design and implementation of data collection and analysis strategies that generate actionable insights to optimize clients' marketing campaigns. Translate business goals and marketing objectives into clear data requirements, and performance metrics, ensuring data collection and analysis plans directly support strategic priorities. Create and manage dynamic, data-driven dashboards and reports that provide clients with a holistic view of their marketing performance across all channels (web, email, paid media, social media, etc.). Leverage expertise in data visualization techniques to effectively communicate key insights. Use data analysis to tell a compelling story about the customer journey across all channels, providing clients with actionable insights to optimize their omni-channel marketing strategies. Own the data infrastructure, ensuring seamless data flow and accessibility for reporting and analysis. Connect marketing performance to sales data to demonstrate the return on investment (ROI) of marketing initiatives. Generate impactful reports and analyses (lead-to-sales, ROI) that empower data-driven decision-making across the organization.Champion best practices for data collection, cleaning, and maintenance across client data sources. Leverage advanced analytics tools (GA4, AdWords, marketing automation platforms) to uncover trends and optimize performance. Partner with internal teams and clients to identify and collect the most relevant data to drive campaign success. Build predictive models to forecast marketing and business outcomes and provide clients with data-driven recommendations for optimization. Provide support as needed to the agency leadership team to analyze agency performance data, and develop relevant insights to drive business growth. Serve as a data analytics expert, championing best practices, and trends, and leading training initiatives to enhance the agency's analytical skills. Define and maintain data analysis and reporting standards. Spearhead the evaluation and implementation of new technologies to improve reporting efficiency and effectiveness. WHAT OUR SENIOR MARKETING DATA ANALYST WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bachelor's degree in a related field (math, economics, business, marketing, engineering) 5+ years of experience with data and analytics/BI tools Strong interest in marketing Advanced Excel skills Knowledge of programming languages (R, SQL) and data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker Studio) Understand data concepts, including data models and mapping Experience using data to advise or make business decisions Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Firm understanding of client reporting processes and deadlines Excellent organization, time management, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical team members A curious nature with a strong desire to understand how data can drive marketing efforts Must be a legal U.S. Citizen Preferred Qualifications:
Data-driven marketing communications experience Experience with predictive modeling and customer segmentation
