We're looking for an Oncology/Lung Cancer expert specializing in all things Pharma Advertising and Medical Communications. The
Medical Editor
will be a part of the content review process, reviewing and editing content for correct spelling, grammar, and sentence structure, fulfillment of creative brief, adherence to AMA and client style, and appropriate and accurate referencing. You'll be involved at all stages of content development, initiating and maintaining editorial integrity from outline to asset delivery.

Job Responsibilities:
The job responsibilities of our Medical Editor include, but are not limited to:
Editorial And Proofreading
Copy, edit, and fact-check materials to ensure consistency and adherence to established grammar, punctuation, spelling rules, and AMA, client, and house style guidelines. Proofread materials to verify alignment with approved content, format, and spacing consistency between copy and graphics. Identify copyrighted material requiring permission for reproduction and process permission requests when necessary. Regulatory Compliance
Stay familiar with FDA and relevant guidelines and industry standards to ensure documents meet or exceed sponsor and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with the team to incorporate client and medical-legal review feedback, addressing required revisions. Must be familiar with the creation and/or review of medical reference annotations and submission packages. Project Management
Utilize company project management and communication software effectively. Attend kickoff, status, and other job-related meetings. Requirements:
5 years of experience working within editorial experience in the pharmaceutical/medical communication or ad agency field Experience working within the Oncology/Lung Cancer space Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, or similar field Familiarity with Veeva, MLR reviews and submissions systems Knowledge of FDA requirements with respect to pharmaceutical advertising
