1-800-flowers.com is looking for a Fruit Bouquet Designer for our Ft. Lauderdale Merchandise Distribution Center (MDC). This is a high volume, fast paced environment. The ideal candidate must be able to meet all company standards, have a creative background and enjoy working as a team to meet the work deadlines.
Responsibilities:
Plan, prep, and cut fruit (chocolate dip some fruit when necessary). Check fruit regularly for quality and freshness, meeting company and FDA standards. Receive and inspect all deliveries. Keep cooler clean and organized at all times. Assist in other departments as needed. Need a High school diploma or equivalent Fruit/Food design experience, a plus Bi-lingual, a plus Able to work longer hours during holidays and on weekends Must be able to stand and work in hot/cold temps for extended periods of time Able to lift 25-40 pounds Capable of working under pressure in a fast paced, changing environment Good organizational and communication skills
