LHH is looking for a Packaging Designer on a full-time basis. The role is hybrid (3x a week). The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing retail packaging design projects, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to make packaging stand out on retail shelves.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop packaging concepts and graphics that align with brand guidelines and target market expectations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and production, to ensure cohesive and impactful packaging solutions.
• Utilize graphic design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign to create high-quality packaging designs.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles to produce visually appealing and effective designs.
• Apply knowledge of inks, substrates, and printing techniques to enhance packaging quality and shelf appeal.
• Conduct product photography, ensuring optimal lighting, composition, and presentation for packaging needs.
• Stay updated on design trends, packaging materials, and production techniques to maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5+ years of proven experience as a Package Graphic Designer, preferably in consumer goods or retail industries.
• Proficiency in graphic design software: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles.
• In-depth knowledge of inks, substrates, printing techniques, and production processes.
• Ability to interpret brand guidelines and translate them into cohesive packaging designs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with 3D rendering software and packaging mock-up tools.
• Experience in leading designers, freelancers, or creative production staff.
