Title: Marketing Specialist Location: Oakbrook, IL 60523 Duration: 6 Months Contract Job Description: Terms of Employment • W2 Contract, 6 Months (Possible Extension) • This position is hybrid with Tuesday-Thursday being onsite in Oak Brook, IL. • The work hours are 8am-5pm (CT). Overview • Our client, a leading energy company, is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Marketing Specialist to join their team in Oak Brook, Illinois. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, marketing tactic execution, and vendor management. Responsibilities will include: • Executing marketing campaigns and initiatives following an existing marketing plan/strategy. • Supporting new and in-flight marketing projects, ensuring adherence to deadlines and budgets. • Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external vendors to achieve project goals. • Analyzing marketing data and providing reports on campaign performance. • Staying up-to-date on marketing trends and best practices. • Navigating internal review/approval processes. • Working effectively in a matrix organization. Required Skills & Experience • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of marketing experience in large, corporate environments. • Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple marketing projects simultaneously. • Experience in executing marketing tactics across various channels. • Experience leading direct mail and/or email marketing campaigns. • Strong vendor management skills. • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and editing Adobe PDF files. • Ability to work independently and navigate processes effectively. Preferred Skills & Experience • Experience in copywriting. • Experience working in a matrix organization. • Marketing agency experience.
