Job Title: Social Media & Influencer Coordinator

Focus: Wine & Spirits, CPG

Position Type: Full-Time

Position Location: New York City (hybrid model; in-office 2-3x per week)

Opportunity:

KLG PR is looking for a coordinator to support our digital marketing team. This individual will assist with the development and execution of social media and influencer strategies for a number of our clients in the wine and spirits, food/bev, hospitality, and CPG industries. The position requires an ambitious self-starter who has at least one year of experience in supporting influencer and social marketing campaigns. They must be able to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment while always acting as a team player. The ideal candidate is an avid social media consumer, who is in tune with digital trends and the influencers setting those trends. Candidates should have prior experience using image editing software, video editors, and owned content creation.

Roles and Responsibilities

INFLUENCER MARKETING

  1. Find, vet, and recommend potential influencers for client campaigns and build out lists.
  2. Manage product send outs and product mailings in a timely manner.
  3. Support in paid campaign management and execution from launch through wrap including negotiating, contracting, briefing, content monitoring, and insights/reporting.
  4. Conduct regular manual social monitoring check-ins on social platforms tracking for brand mentions.
  5. Update master placements grid with metrics and results for influencer and affiliate campaigns.
  6. Assist in compiling weekly/monthly reports and call agendas & recaps.
  7. Ensure all internal stakeholders are notified of new content, coordinating upcoming influencer campaigns.
  8. Stay up to date with influencer trends, competitor activations, and platform updates.
  9. Brainstorm creative mailer ideas and activations.
  10. Experience cultivating true brand ambassadors, opposed to one-off moments.

SOCIAL MEDIA

  1. Develop and curate engaging content for social media platforms.
  2. Assist in the creation and editing of written, video, and photo content.
  3. Maintain unified brand voice across different social media channels.
  4. Collaborate with the team to create a social media calendar.
  5. Monitor social media channels for industry trends.
  6. Interact with users and respond to social media messages, inquiries, and comments.
  7. Review analytics and create reports on key metrics.
  8. Assist in the development and management of social media marketing strategy.
  9. Assist in conducting paid ads on social media, both boosting and whitelisting.

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Strong attention to detail.
  2. Interest and passion in influencer marketing, digital media, and social media.
  3. 1+ years experience in influencer/social media marketing.
  4. Existing influencer relationships are a plus!
  5. Must have experience developing social media content.
  6. Knowledge/experience in affiliate marketing is a plus!
  7. Self-starter, detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and emerging trends.
  9. Ability to demonstrate effective & professional verbal and written communication skills.
  10. Strong MS Office and Google Suite skills.
  11. Strong photo and video editing skills.
  12. Ability to create owned content.
  13. Some experience running paid ads on social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok).
