Primary Responsibilities/Requirements:

Answer a high volume of incoming phone calls to the call center in a timely mannerDirect calls appropriately by transferring and or taking detailed messagesSchedule appointments according to physician profilesSome insurance/billing experience, however not a requirementAbility to communicate professionally, both oral and written for clear, legible messagesPleasant, friendly demeanor with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and all incoming callersAssist with any other task assigned

Must also possess:

Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced enviromentsOutstanding organizational, verbal and writing skillsIndependent and highly motivatedInitiative and self-disciplineProven positive, "teamwork" attitude in work historyGenuine desire to assist and help othersExpertise in customer serviceStrong communications, both written and verbalGreat active listening skillsExceptional interpersonal and rapport building skillsA patient and empathetic attitudeAdaptability and flexibilityTroubleshooting skills, find solutions to issues and address concernsComputer literacyComprehensive knowledge of company, services, medical terminology and scheduling preferences

Physical Demands:

Must be able to use arms, hands, and fingers skillfullyPosition requires prolonged sitting (90% of day).Must be agile and able to work efficiently in space limited areasPosition requires the use of office equipment such as computer terminals, telephones, faxes, or copiersConsistently work at a productive paceMust readily adapt to frequent schedule changes

Typical Working Conditions:

Work is completed in an office environment where the employee comes in frequent contact with internal staff.
