We enable our customers to optimize chips for power, cost, and performanceeliminating months off their project schedules.**Were looking for a Technical Sales Person to join the team.**In this role you would be manage the sale of key Analog/Custom Design products for North America-based accounts. Responsibilities include driving tools and solutions sales, coordinating and delivering competitive selling material to the field, and disseminating selling strategies across teams within the region. The role also requires assessment of the customer opportunity space and competitive positioning for key accounts, while working closely with product development and service delivery teams to ensure competitive product offerings are available. You must be capable of providing product and sales leadership to the account sales teams and to the business units. You will be instrumental in assisting Synopsys BU and other organizations in understanding how the Analog/Custom Design business should fit within Synopsys selling effort. You will work as a conduit between customers and the BU to help determine how to extend the products and integration with Synopsys core EDA in order to expand the overall TAM.**Key Qualifications:*** You will serve as the primary technical sales contact for Synopsys Analog/Custom Design group, supporting the field team and driving strategic product initiatives.* Work in a team environment with Strategic Account Management, Core EDA sales, Applications Engineers, Contracts Administration, and Finance staff to meet and exceed established sales objectives of the group.* Support the field team to drive the technical selling strategy and to support an understanding of the customers challenges and needs within Synopsys Analog/Custom Design product line. You will manage technical evaluations, develop solution proposals, and close business with the customer.* Coordinate the preparation of written proposals, and work with internal organizations such as business units, legal, finance, and order processing to drive business to closure. You will be responsible for developing complex technical sales plans. This may involve competitive displacements, or creative business agreements to meet or exceed pre-established quotas.**Preferred Experience:*** BS with typically 5-8 years related experience in technical selling and /or supporting technical sales, e.g., field applications engineering and preferably with 2 years experience with relevant analog/custom design tools.* Requires a good understanding of custom and analog design and development flows, knowledge of the complete sales process, strong communication skills, and the ability to interact with engineering and financial staff at all levels.* Ability to grasp complex technical data and to communicate to a broad range of technical and non-technical people.* Uses professional concepts to solve a wide-range of difficult problems in imaginative and creative ways.
