As the

Global Marketing Director - Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS), Downstream Marketing

on the Brain Modulation Marketing team, you will set global marketing strategy for the DBS portfolio and create and execute marketing programs and strategic growth initiatives. This is a high visibility role which requires broad cross-functional knowledge, strong project management experience, and comprehensive business management skills. This person will work closely with cross-functional teams and marketing partners in regions across the world and provide direction and leadership within the organization.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

Direct the development of company market requirements for specific product(s) or product line(s).

Lead and coordinate product planning, product launches, product management, market development, and market research activities.

Interact directly with product managers to identify new marketing opportunities.

Work individually or with a team in recommending action, scheduling and planning projects, estimating cost, and managing projects to completion.

Identify unmet customer requirements and new business opportunities and provide vision and focus to move products from idea to marketplace.

Facilitate and coordinate marketing activities with geographic areas to increase teamwork and build partnerships.

Coordinate trade show activities, website development, developing future market development strategies (Patient and HCP), and tracking of marketing campaigns to evaluate results and provide recommendations for future marketing promotions.

Responsible for products and programs to drive category growth for the entire DBS Portfolio.

Responsible for all downstream marketing initiatives for DBS including product launches, pricing frameworks, portfolio management, and other key commercial programs designed to drive business growth.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree required.

Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience with 7+ years of people or program managerial experience, or Advanced Degree with a minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, minimum of 7 years of managerial experience.

Nice to Have

MBA.

Prior healthcare marketing experience, ideally in Medical Devices.

Demonstrated project management experience.

Demonstrated critical thinking and complex problem-solving skills.

Experience driving results in a highly matrixed organization by collaborating across functional boundaries.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD): $184,800.00 - $277,200.00.

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

This position is eligible for an annual long-term incentive plan.

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Life insurance, Long-term disability leave, Dependent daycare spending account, Tuition assistance/reimbursement, and Simple Steps (global well-being program).
