Position Summary

We are seeking a visionary

Commercial Design Director

to lead our design team and oversee the creative direction for commercial projects. In this role, you will work closely with internal stakeholders and clients to conceptualize, plan, and execute design solutions that align with the client's objectives and YourOpenRange.com's brand ethos. You will be responsible for driving innovation, ensuring design excellence, and helping to grow the company's commercial portfolio.

Duties Lead the design team in conceptualizing and executing high-quality design projects that meet client expectations and brand standards. Develop and maintain design guidelines, ensuring consistency across all platforms and materials. Collaborate with marketing, product development, and other departments to create cohesive branding strategies. Mentor and inspire team members, fostering a culture of creativity and innovation within the design department. Conduct regular design reviews, providing constructive feedback to enhance team performance and project outcomes. Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and technologies to improve design processes and methodologies continuously. Present design concepts and strategies to stakeholders, articulating the vision and rationale behind creative decisions. Requirements

Education & Experience

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. 7+ years of experience in commercial design, with at least 3 years in a leadership/management role. Proven track record of delivering successful commercial projects (e.g., offices, retail spaces, hospitality environments). Technical Proficiency

Advanced knowledge of design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite. Familiarity with building codes, construction processes, and sustainability standards (e.g., LEED). Leadership & Communication

Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to mentor, manage, and inspire creative teams. Strong presentation and communication abilities for both internal stakeholders and external clients. Strategic & Innovative Thinking

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
