Page Six is the must-see gossip section from the New York Post, the nation's oldest newspaper with the youngest, most ambitious video department. We want to make our mark in digital video and create memorable work and new watching habits among our audience.

The legacy of the great headlines conveys the attributes of our videos: bold, irreverent, judgmental, confident and clever. We want to make videos that surprise viewers. We seek someone who believes news doesn't have to be boring to be news and who appreciates reality TV, celebrity gossip, feuds, scandals and hookups. Let's talk!

We are currently seeking an

Intern

(~24 hours per week) for our video department. You have a keen knowledge and interest in news and pop culture and can help us create savvy, fun and informative digital-native video content.

Note: This internship is scheduled to run from February 3, 2025, to April 11, 2025 (10 weeks). Participants are expected to work approximately 24 hours per week.

This is an opportunity to join an iconic media brand as it continues to experience exponential digital growth. Page Six videos have received more than 50 million views in the last year.

Responsibilities: Assist with daily tasks such as page publishing, organizing, and versioning videos. Create and edit cutdown excerpts for social media platforms. Support field and office production shoots. Collaborate on creating savvy, fun, and informative digital-native video content. Learn how a high-octane video department operates creatively. Requirements:

Keen interest in news, pop culture, and working in an online news environment. Knowledge of Adobe Premiere and basic video editing skills. Working knowledge of Macs and Mac Operating Systems. Familiarity with mainstream video platforms like YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, and Twitter. Social media savvy. Simple photo editing skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively and accurately.

Note: This position must be able to report into our office located in Midtown Manhattan.
