Over the past 223 years, The Post has evolved into a multi-platform media company spanning print, digital, video, audio, app, television and commerce.
We are currently seeking a Video Studio Intern (24 hours per week) to join our video department. The ideal candidate has a strong passion for news and pop culture and can contribute to creating engaging, savvy, and informative digital-native video content. This is a hands-on opportunity to work in both studio and field production environments, gaining valuable experience in all aspects of video production.
Note: This internship is scheduled to run from February 3, 2025, to April 11, 2025 (10 weeks). Participants are expected to work approximately 24 hours per week.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in studio operations, including set creation, setup, and breakdown.
- Support field operations, including logistics, location agreements, and production needs.
- Operate a second camera during shoots.
- Assist with teleprompter operation during studio recordings.
- Provide general support during field shoots, including equipment handling and setup.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure smooth execution of video shoots.
- Assist with both field and office production tasks as needed.
- Interest in working in online news environment; knowledge of current news and pop culture a plus!
- Working knowledge of Macs and Mac Operating Systems
- Knowledge of camera operations
- Ideally simple editing skills
- Must enjoy working collaboratively and accurately; attention to detail a must
