United Hatzalah, Israel’s national volunteer emergency response organization, seeks a bilingual grant writer to work on the International Resource Development Team. This position encompasses the full grant cycle: research, Letters of Intent, proposals, reporting, and ongoing correspondence. This is a full-time position working at our Jerusalem office.
Responsibilities:
- Write grant applications based on organizational needs
- Build program proposals, including budgets and measurable outcomes
- Produce donor-centered marketing material
- Track submissions of proposals and manage relationships with funders in Salesforce
- Report to funders and maintain their engagement in projects funded by their grants.
Qualifications:
- Native-level English speaker with outstanding English writing skills
- Basic Hebrew speaking, reading, and writing skills
- Minimum of two years of proven grant writing experience
- Excellent analytical and creative abilities
- Detail-oriented professional
- Ability to meet multiple deadlines simultaneously and work well under pressure
- Collaborative team player
- Computer literate in OFFICE, EXCEL, online grant application and reporting, familiarity with Salesforce a plus
