This position shall be responsible for marketing the co-curricular experience at NCF, with a strong focus on enhancing social media presence and centralizing communication systems.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in the training and assignment of marketing projects to the Marketing & Communication Student Assistant.
  2. Create and post content on all social media, including Instagram and Facebook.
  3. Design and distribute marketing materials, including posters, flyers, presentations, etc.
  4. Manage the SAuCE email and send relevant communications, including the weekly newsletter.
  5. Assign tasks to the Marketing & Communications Student Assistant and assist with office training in graphic design or other relevant areas.
  6. Document and support all SAuCE/SET events.
  7. Special projects assigned and approved by the supervisor.
  8. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Full-time NCF student in good academic and conduct standing.
  2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  3. Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities.
  4. Motivated self-starter with the capacity to work independently while contributing to team projects as appropriate.
  5. Model leadership and peer-education to assist secondary Marketing & Communication member with their training and skill building.
  6. Ability to maintain a professional manner, including excellent customer service skills.
  7. Ethical decision-making skills and ability to work with confidential information.
  8. Graphic design capability, such as Canva, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.
  9. Proficient in Instagram and Facebook.
  10. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).
  11. Proficient in Google Suite (Gmail, Google Docs, Gchat, etc.).
  12. Familiarity with scheduling platforms (SKED, MailChimp, etc.).

Must be a work study eligible student.
