Overview
This position shall be responsible for marketing the co-curricular experience at NCF, with a strong focus on enhancing social media presence and centralizing communication systems.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the training and assignment of marketing projects to the Marketing & Communication Student Assistant.
- Create and post content on all social media, including Instagram and Facebook.
- Design and distribute marketing materials, including posters, flyers, presentations, etc.
- Manage the SAuCE email and send relevant communications, including the weekly newsletter.
- Assign tasks to the Marketing & Communications Student Assistant and assist with office training in graphic design or other relevant areas.
- Document and support all SAuCE/SET events.
- Special projects assigned and approved by the supervisor.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Full-time NCF student in good academic and conduct standing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities.
- Motivated self-starter with the capacity to work independently while contributing to team projects as appropriate.
- Model leadership and peer-education to assist secondary Marketing & Communication member with their training and skill building.
- Ability to maintain a professional manner, including excellent customer service skills.
- Ethical decision-making skills and ability to work with confidential information.
- Graphic design capability, such as Canva, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.
- Proficient in Instagram and Facebook.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).
- Proficient in Google Suite (Gmail, Google Docs, Gchat, etc.).
- Familiarity with scheduling platforms (SKED, MailChimp, etc.).
Must be a work study eligible student.
