We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Assistant Community Manager to join our team at a prestigious market-rate apartment community with over 200 units in Naperville. This is a great opportunity to be a part of a dynamic team committed to delivering exceptional service and maintaining high standards of property management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Resident Relations: Serve as a primary point of contact for residents, addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests in a professional and timely manner.
- Lease Administration: Assist with the leasing process, including preparing lease agreements, conducting move-in orientations, and ensuring compliance with lease terms.
- Property Maintenance: Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure timely and effective resolution of maintenance requests and oversee the overall upkeep of the property.
- Financial Management: Support budget management by tracking expenses, preparing reports, and assisting with rent collection and account reconciliations.
- Marketing and Outreach: Assist in implementing marketing strategies to attract new residents and retain current ones. Contribute to resident retention programs and community events.
- Administrative Duties: Perform administrative tasks including record-keeping, filing, and managing correspondence.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in property management, with a preference for experience in market-rate or multi-family housing.
- Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, proficiency with property management software, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with fair housing laws, lease administration, and maintenance procedures.
